Centurion & Supreme Boats Welcomes New Dealer – Oakland County Boat Sales
(July 28, 2025) Highland, MI—Centurion & Supreme Boats is proud to announce Oakland County Boat Sales as their newest dealer. Since opening it’s doors on November 1, 2019, OKC owner, Kyle Potocki, outgrew two locations and is now in his largest location to date in Highland, Michigan.
Oakland County Boat Sales (OKC) grew from a regional boat broker to a nationwide watersports dealer and locator for customers across the country. Word spread quickly from happy customers about the dedicated team support customers received during and after the sale. After adding on a new pontoon line in 2021, OKC is excited to partner with Centurion and Supreme to elevate the customer experience for the watersports market in the Detroit area.
“As we’ve grown, we needed to be able to grow to serve our customers and employees as they grow too,” Potocki shares. “The timing was right and there was a hole in our market where customers wanted the best wake surf waves and world class customer experience from a dealer who cares. This is perfect timing and a great opportunity to partner with a team that is as customer centric as we are.”
OKC is known for their “mom and pop” store vibe. Throughout the company, the employees have a passion for watersports and taking care of customers and maintaining relationships well past the purchase of a boat.
“I’m not here to sell you a boat, I’m here to sell you the next five. We are passionate about serving our area and our community. There are a lot of dealerships in the area who helped build the wake boat community in the country and even though we’re the younger wave in our community, we have the passion for growth,” Potocki shares.
Potocki has built a strong team at OKC. JP, who runs everything back of house, brings a wealth of over 40 years of experience to the dealership.
“My sales team and I love meeting new customers and getting them in the right boat all while creating great relationships. JP and our service team handle service, warranty, and admin to make purchasing from us seamless and as enjoyable as possible. This industry is our passion, and we always push for growth and elevating our customer experience. We work well together,” Potocki says.
OKC is heavily involved in their community. The dealership sponsors a charity event hosted by former Detroit Redwings player, Joe Kocur’s. The charity gives back to children in the community. In addition, OKC employs high school kids in the community and has plans to partner with a local school to help kids get jobs and jumpstart their careers.
“We are honored as a manufacturer to partner with a passionate group to grow watersports and bring family and friends together to create memories to last a lifetime. From sales to service, winterization, and beyond OKC is the total package. This will be the beginning of a great partnership that will serve the Detroit market with the best boating experience possible. OKC will carry our “Making Life Better” creed to all those they serve,” Nate Reid, Centurion & Supreme Boats Eastern Sales Manager states.

Manufacturing Momentum With Team
The Centurion & Supreme Boats Team of Athletes and Ambassadors has created much of the momentum we enjoy today. By partnering with high-integrity individuals and their families who share our passion for water sports our team has grown into an army of brand building warriors who prioritize making lives better especially for their local dealer.
Ken Scribner, Centurion & Supreme Boats Team Manager, helps train our team to be a value to our brands as well as their local dealer's brand. Ken orchestrates regular calls with the team and is available to talk with our family of athletes and ambassadors as well as their dealers to continue to fan the fire of momentum our team creates.
I received an amazing example of the momentum our team is creating last month. Ryan Lacefield from Bohner Lacefield Marine texted us a video walk-around of an Ri245. This was a boat that he loaned to the Hickey Family for Team Centurion's Pro Surfer Kenzie Hickey. In the video he was extremely complimentary of the boat's condition upon return.
"They take such great care of the boats when they have them. Showroom condition..." Ryan raved!
Although this level of care is expected when using a 250k plus boat, Ryan's dealership is experiencing real momentum from his team partnerships, like with the Hickeys.
When Kenzie and her family came to pick-up their new 2025 Ri230, they shot an Instagram reel, they later posted. After seeing this reel, a potential customer reached out to Ryan interested in learning more about Bohner Lacefield Marine and Centurion Boats. This particular customer was in the market for a surf boat, but had only been looking at Malibu and Tige to this point. He did not begin to consider Centurion Boats until seeing the walkthrough the Hickeys posted on her new boat because this customer follows Kenzie on Instagram.
She’s arrived! 🩵 It’s so fun to see what you’ve built online come to life, and this Mist Blue and White 2025 @centurionboats Ri230 turned out gorgeous. We had a blast unwrapping this beauty with @lacefield26 as we took delivery at @bohnerlacefieldmarine yesterday.
Our gratitude and love for @centurionboats @lacefield26 and @bohnerlacefieldmarine is more than we could ever express. Thank you for ALL of your support over the years and being apart of this journey we call life! From our family to yours, time to make memories on the water! 🫶🏼

This customer made the trip to Fresno, CA to visit Bohner Lacefield Marine on Father's Day Weekend and left a deposit on a 2025 Centurion Fe25. Ryan Lacefield is leveraging the Centurion & Supreme Boats Team to manufacture momentum in his business. Are you manufacturing momentum?

July 2025 DNL: President’s Letter
Dear Valued Partners,
We are right in the middle of the summer season, and this is where the rubber truly meets the road. Boats are on the water, customers are out enjoying what you have worked hard to deliver, and this time of year continues to be our greatest opportunity to make a lasting impact.
In the middle of all the summer chaos, I want to pause and thank each of you for what you do. I know firsthand how much effort goes into making a sale, prepping a boat, managing service demands, and keeping your customers happy. It is no small task, and your commitment does not go unnoticed. Every one of you plays a vital role in building and protecting the reputation of Centurion and Supreme.
This season also brings something extra special. We have officially begun building our Model Year 2026 boats, and with it, we kick off a year-long celebration of 50 years of Centurion Boats. That is half a century of innovation, craftsmanship, and the relentless pursuit of the perfect ride. This milestone would not be possible without dealer partners like you who have helped shape this legacy year after year.
While the overall market continues to present challenges, you continue to push forward with energy and professionalism. Whether it is hosting local events, delivering exceptional handoff experiences, or helping a customer understand what sets our boats apart, the work you are doing truly matters.
Our job at the manufacturing level is to support you. That means better communication, faster answers, improved parts availability, and a consistent focus on helping you close deals and build long-term customer loyalty. We are not just here to build boats. We are here to build confidence in our partnership with you. We are listening, and we are working hard every day to earn your continued trust.
As we look to close out the summer strong, I encourage you to stay close to your customers, lean on our team when you need help, and keep sharing feedback. Thank you again for believing in Centurion and Supreme. I am proud of where we are, and even more excited about where we are headed together.

2026 Photo Shoot Momentum
We just finished with our 4th photo shoot gathering photography and video content for model year 2026. I have been a part of 27 years of photo shoots in this industry and I have learned they can either slightly accentuate momentum or completely stop it. I have never been a part of a shoot that seems to create its own. This year I am seeing this miracle of the marine industry take place. We are manufacturing momentum at photo shoots!
Photo shoots are simply a pain in the butt! They take months to plan, require the coordination of upwards of 50 people, not to mention a dozen boats, and can be brought to a full stop by a number of extenuating circumstances of which we normally don't have any control. This year we have dealt with bad weather, Golden Muscle checks, talent/ athlete/ crew delays, boat challenges and lack of accommodations. These challenges do not take into account the normal rigors of a boat photo shoot, like being at the dock each morning by 4:50am and not heading to bed each night until 11 at the earliest. Plus somewhere in the middle of all of these challenges we need to execute our strategy for creating the content that will allow us to market Centurion and Supreme boats to create opportunities for boat sales through the next model year.
In spite all of this potential for difficulty, Centurion and Supreme brand momentum is being continually creating by our photo shoot team. This instrumental team begins with the Marketing Department, Ancelle Contreras, Ken Scribner, Taylor Manzanedo and Alexis Machado. The preparation and dedicated follow-through of this team serves as the example for everyone else who participates in a shoot. They lead by example and through service while making sure we accomplish the goal of creating content that showcases the customer benefits our boats provide to create enthusiasm for our brands. I know they are all amazing leaders because they manage to create enthusiasm with the rest of the photo shoot team in the midst of never-ending challenges.
The entire Marketing Team prepares for the photo shoots months ahead of time with a marketing plan that grows into a detailed shot list with very specific talent and location specifications. At the photo shoot, Ancelle manages the photo crew, while Ken, our cowboy-of-all-trades, drives the chase boat or the truck for photos. Taylor manages our amazing video crew during very long days on the water and Alexis moves back and forth between the two crews, when she is not facilitating meals and other accommodations. They do all of this while managing their daily Marketing tasks. All four of them would also say that they couldn't do what they do without the unbelievable factory support they receive. From having Devin Wahlberg and Zach Haubrich in Product Development to Tino Chavez towing boats back and forth to Lavon Wallace prioritizing photo boat production with his crew, our factory team plays a huge part in the momentum of a photo shoot.
The partners we entrust Centurion & Supreme Boats content creation to are more like family than business associates. I have worked with Devon Uderitz, our art director, Rob Snow, our still photographer, and Dale Goff, our studio photographer, for 25 plus years. They are incredible individuals and amazingly talented, but they will be the first to tell you that photo shoots can wreck brand momentum and especially team moral. Bill McCaffray and Cole Vanthof from Alliance are newer partners, but they are no strangers to boat photo shoots and the challenges. Cole is a gifted videographer, but if conditions are not created for him to capture the footage he needs, video production sentiment goes downhill fast.
These partners are seasoned veterans when it comes to boat photo shoots, they have extremely high expectations and know there is a high probability of failure if a shoot is run poorly. Each of these discerning partners have made individual comments to me during these last four photo shoots praising the Centurion & Supreme Boats Team on a job well done. And I guess that could be seen as lip service since we are paying them, but considering their levels of production and demeanors during the shoots, I know their praise is genuine. Thanks to the efforts of our Marketing, PD&E and Production Teams these artists are able to execute the strategy we have laid out and they are excited about the content they are creating. This enthusiasm is infectious and it creates momentum that not only permeates the photo shoots themselves, but extends well into post production and publishing.
When photo and video crews are feeling this level of stoke in such challenging circumstances it infects our photo and video subjects with same enthusiasm. We would not have any content to capture without our dedicated team of athletes and in many cases their families. Ken and Alexis have coordinated approximately 40 of our athletes and their families to attend the on-water shoots. They take time out of their busy schedules to help us capture pro-level wake surfing, wakeboarding and lifestyle content centered around our boats. These athletes and their family members also help us keep the boats in tip top shape through the photo shoot by loading, unloading, cleaning, gassing and helping us maintain the boats. The entire Centurion & Supreme Boats photo shoot family also helps organize and cook meals. It is truly a team effort!
Thank you Team Centurion!

After having been with this group through the thick and thin of the photo shoot, I know it is this team that manufactures momentum for Centurion & Supreme Boats. The photos and video are of course incredible and they create momentum, but it is stories of tribulation and triumph that we all share after the shoot is over that grows our momentum exponentially!
It takes all of us and I could not be more proud to be a part of the Centurion & Supreme Boats Team continuing to manufacture momentum! I hope you all continue to tell these stories of manufacturing momentum so we can keep this thing going! Thank you all for everything you do to make lives better!

May 2025 DNL: President’s Letter
Dear Valued Partners,
As we move through May and head into summer, I want to take a moment to recognize the challenges we’ve all faced. Tariff changes, economic uncertainty, and some tough weather across many regions have made it harder for customers to make buying decisions. I know it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I believe this is just a temporary slowdown. Centurion and Supreme are in a great position to come out of this even stronger. Our boats bring something special to the table. The quality, the performance, and the overall experience our brands offer are second to none. Customers will recognize that value, especially as the market bounces back.
Now is the time to stay focused and keep showing customers why Centurion and Supreme are the best choices out there. I believe we’ll see an uptick in sales as we head into the summer months. When the dust settles, we’ll not only have weathered this storm but will be in a great position to grow.
I also want to remind you that Model Year 26’ is just around the corner, and we’re excited to showcase new features and updates for both Centurion and Supreme. There’s a lot to look forward to, but we also need to finish out the current season strong. Please make sure to get your reorders in soon to take advantage of available rebates and incentives. Let’s finish June on a high note.
I appreciate all the hard work you’re putting in. Thank you for being part of the Centurion and Supreme family. Together, we’ve got a bright road ahead.
Wishing you a successful and exciting summer season.

(March 19, 2025) Castaic, CA— Centurion & Supreme Boats are thrilled to announce Cal State Wake as its newest dealer. Ideally located at the southern end of California’s Grape Vine and a few minutes from Six Flags Magic Mountain, Cal State Wake has opened its doors for business.

Between the three service team members he hired, there are over 60 years of experience. His team is built around people who work hard and have built a reputation across the industry for being top-tier service staff.
“I’ll be working front of house from sales to administrative work. Service makes the world go round so I hired 3 guys that I worked with previously. I’m hiring people that I know will make us successful,” Draves states.

I am excited for this partnership that is going to take the brands to new heights in the So-Cal area,” Nick Singer, Centurion & Supreme Boats Inside Sales Manager and California Sales Representative shares.
“I’m just a 51-year-old kid. There is serenity in being on the water and that’s taken precedence in my life. I love the anticipation of my turn coming to get to ride behind the boat. I love hanging out with my friends and family. That feeling never gets old,” Matt says.

Manufacturing Momentum: Tariffs
Albert Einstein said, "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." I believe we have harnessed this mindset to manufacture the current momentum we are enjoying. We are going to continue to take this approach with new challenges we face including tariffs.
Centurion & Supreme Boats is maximizing transparency in hopes of earning even more trust with you our dealer network. While we cannot control the implementation of tariffs or their amounts, we can commit to communicating these exact increases without margining them up. And when the tariffs are repealed, we will remove them from your invoices. We will also continue to invest in the expansion of USA Made parts and materials in Centurion and Supreme Boats. Just like our development of the "Made in America" Predator Power Tower with Roswell, we are prioritizing domestically produced goods. I encourage all of you to approach the challenge to boat sales that tariffs could pose with your customers in a similar way.
Tariff Opportunities
- Offer an opportunity to your customers to purchase Centurion or Supreme boats before tariffs to save thousands of dollars.
- Your inventory Centurions and Supremes do not have a tariff applied.
- 2025 Centurions and Supreme built through June 2025 will NOT carry tariffs.
- Even if we are charged tariffs on parts and materials prior to new model year production we will NOT be passing those costs on to you or your customers.
- For those customers who will wait to purchase 2026MY Centurions and Supremes, take the opportunity to build trust with them by showing the exact tariffs they will be paying on their purchase.
- You could also benefit from the fact that 2025 or older Centurion & Supreme Boats do not have tariffs and should carry a sales incentive (Water Proof Tour Sales Event) so you can hold margins on your new 2026MY boats.
We are going to take every opportunity to further our momentum by controlling what we can, especially in the presence of adversity. Keep manufacturing momentum!

April 2025 DNL: President’s Letter
Dear Centurion & Supreme Boats Family,
The weather is heating up across the country and so are boat sales! Retail activity is gaining momentum as we head into peak season, and we’re excited to see inventory moving across our dealer network. Thank you for your continued efforts to connect families with the water this spring.
At the factory, we’re ramping up right alongside you. We've recently brought on new team members to help support consistent, high-quality production. Our daily commitment remains strong: to build four premium boats a day, each crafted with precision and pride. Quality drives everything we do, and we're grateful for your partnership in bringing that standard to life on your showroom floors.
This year we're also proud to continue using our boats as more than just vessels for fun as they are also a tool for purpose. Through partnerships with organizations like Operation Wake Surf, Operation Get Out, In His Wakes Ministries, and Ride Inspired, we’re helping people heal, connect, and find joy on the water. These collaborations allow us all to be part of something bigger as we continue to focus on impacting lives and strengthening communities across the country.
As we enter the heart of the season, thank you again for your trust, your hard work, and your shared passion for the water. Let’s keep the momentum going and make this a season to remember.
