March 2025 DNL: President's Letter

They say the only things certain in life are death, taxes… and now, tariffs? While we can’t do much about the first two, we are actively navigating the challenges of the third. Despite economic headwinds, inflation concerns, and ongoing market fluctuations, Centurion and Supreme have continued to stand strong, achieving both market share and unit growth in a declining industry.

The marine industry continues to face overall declines, with the ski and wake segment dropping from 9,684 to an estimated 9,000 units. While many brands are feeling the pressure of economic hardships, Centurion and Supreme have remained resilient, standing out as two of the few brands to achieve both market share and unit growth.

Despite industry-wide challenges, Centurion saw an impressive 6.4% increase year-over-year, while Supreme followed with a solid 4.0% growth. Meanwhile, other major brands experienced declines, with Malibu down 16.8%, Axis dropping 24.6%, and MasterCraft falling 10.6%. In a competitive landscape, our ability to not only hold ground but also gain momentum is a testament to the strength of our dealer network, the quality of our products, and the loyalty of our customers.

While economic pressures, tariffs, and inflation continue to impact consumer buying power, we are strategically navigating these challenges with pricing strategies and promotions designed to keep sales strong. Your dedication to representing Centurion & Supreme Boats at the highest level is what continues to set us apart. Customers are responding to our boats' superior performance, technology, and craftsmanship, reinforcing the strength of our brands even in uncertain times.

Looking ahead, we are beginning to see signs of stabilization in certain sectors. While I can’t definitively tell you what the future holds, I can tell you our company will remain committed to providing you with the tools, marketing support, and competitive programs needed to sustain this momentum. Together, we will continue to capture market share and drive success for both of our companies.

Thank you again for your dedication and partnership. Let’s keep winning together.

Proving Momentum with Industry Partner Boat Sales

Like an increase in market share and unit sales year over year, another indicator of Centurion momentum is boat sales to industry partners. These partners work with many, if not all competitors. They can also get "a deal" from any of them. So when industry partners choose to purchase a Centurion boat, that is a true indication of momentum and one that we are extremely proud of. We believe they choose to purchase our boats because of the mutually beneficial relationships we share, but first and foremost we believe it is the performance of our product and now the strength of our brands that help them make the decision. Telling the stories of their Centurion choices is a great way to convey the results of our manufacturing momentum.

Valued partners of ours who currently own or are in the process of purchasing Centurion boats are as follows:
Loren Traister (GatorStep)
Justin Jones (SewLong)
Tim White (formerly WetSounds)
Natalie Carrera (Indmar)
Daniel Luby (Boatmate)
Bronson Meskimen (FirstMate)

I am privileged to share the results of Centurion & Supreme Boats manufacturing momentum and I will continue to share these victories so you can recount them to your customers.

February 2025 DNL: President's Letter

Dear Centurion and Supreme Dealers,

Boat show season is in full swing, and I wanted to take a moment to share the outstanding momentum we’re experiencing with Centurion and Supreme. Thanks to your dedication and hard work, boat show sales are up 10% compared to last year. This is a direct testament to the growing recognition of the exceptional value our boats offer.

This success isn’t just about numbers; it’s about the passion and commitment you bring to representing our brands. The feedback from the shows has been phenomenal. Customers see first-hand that our boats deliver the best value our segment has to offer. Focused on performance, function, and innovation, all at a price that makes sense, our lineup of boats delivers exceptional quality, versatility, and value for every family.

One thing I’ve been particularly impressed by is the energy and effort dealers are putting into their boat show displays this year. The creativity and professionalism at boat shows are truly raising the bar, and the reports from our sales team highlight the incredible work being done across our dealer network. Your ability to engage customers, showcase our boats’ strengths, and create excitement around our brands is making a significant impact.

As we move throughout the year, let’s keep the momentum going! Continue to leverage the excitement around our brands while maximizing every opportunity. Utilize marketing tools and support available to you, share success stories, and capitalize on the buzz we’re creating together. The strength of our products, combined with your efforts, is what will continue to drive success to our brands and create lifelong Centurion and Supreme customers.

Thank you for your commitment to Centurion and Supreme. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated, and I look forward to an incredible year ahead! Let’s continue to make 2025 a year to remember by building on this momentum and creating an unparalleled experience for our customers.

February 2025 DNL: Movin' On Up

When I look at the latest domestic registration numbers for the Wake Boating segment in  Q3, Q4 of 2024 as well as January of 2025, I hear our walk-up song! We're not walking up to receive an award. We moved up to #5 in the boat manufacturer ranking of unit sales in the United States, while Centurion has moved up to 5th in unit sales as an individual brand.

January SSI:                    R12 CY               R12 LY                R12 YOY %

Ski Wake:                        8,811                  10,115                -12.9%

  1. MasterCraft:         1,683                   1,958                 -14.0%
  2. Malibu:                 1,581                   1,940                 -18.5%
  3. Nautique:             1,493                   1,582                  -5.6%
  4. Axis:                       837                    1,103                 -24.1%
  5. Centurion              616                       591                     4.2%

Our walk-up song is not, "We are the Champions" because we are not interested in building the most boats. It's not "Life in the Fast Lane" because we are not interested in building boats the fastest. It is "Movin' On Up", the theme song to the 80's sitcom "The Jeffersons" because Centurion and Supreme boats are now being chosen among the top boat manufacturers in the water sports industry. 616 591 4.2%

To add to this incredible momentum, Centurion and Supreme Boats were the only two wake boat brands increasing market share for the last two quarters. Centurion is still up by 4.2% in January, while all others are down. The thoughtful partnership-based decisions we have made over the last two years are manufacturing the increased momentum that is elevating our brands even in a challenging market.

My favorite part of our walk-up song is, "Now we're up in the big leagues, gettin our turn at bat. As long as we live it's you and me baby. There ain't nothing wrong with that! Well we're moving on up..." It's "you" the dealers and "me" the manufacturer who are helping all of us climb this ladder of success. We will continue to be an excellent steward of your partnership and trust by continuing to manufacture momentum along with the World's best waves wake and ride!
