Albert Einstein said, “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” I believe we have harnessed this mindset to manufacture the current momentum we are enjoying. We are going to continue to take this approach with new challenges we face including tariffs.
Centurion & Supreme Boats is maximizing transparency in hopes of earning even more trust with you our dealer network. While we cannot control the implementation of tariffs or their amounts, we can commit to communicating these exact increases without margining them up. And when the tariffs are repealed, we will remove them from your invoices. We will also continue to invest in the expansion of USA Made parts and materials in Centurion and Supreme Boats. Just like our development of the “Made in America” Predator Power Tower with Roswell, we are prioritizing domestically produced goods. I encourage all of you to approach the challenge to boat sales that tariffs could pose with your customers in a similar way.
Tariff Opportunities
- Offer an opportunity to your customers to purchase Centurion or Supreme boats before tariffs to save thousands of dollars.
- Your inventory Centurions and Supremes do not have a tariff applied.
- 2025 Centurions and Supreme built through June 2025 will NOT carry tariffs.
- Even if we are charged tariffs on parts and materials prior to new model year production we will NOT be passing those costs on to you or your customers.
- For those customers who will wait to purchase 2026MY Centurions and Supremes, take the opportunity to build trust with them by showing the exact tariffs they will be paying on their purchase.
- You could also benefit from the fact that 2025 or older Centurion & Supreme Boats do not have tariffs and should carry a sales incentive (Water Proof Tour Sales Event) so you can hold margins on your new 2026MY boats.
We are going to take every opportunity to further our momentum by controlling what we can, especially in the presence of adversity. Keep manufacturing momentum!
