(March 19, 2025) Castaic, CA— Centurion & Supreme Boats are thrilled to announce Cal State Wake as its newest dealer. Ideally located at the southern end of California’s Grape Vine and a few minutes from Six Flags Magic Mountain, Cal State Wake has opened its doors for business.
Matt Draves, Owner of Cal State Wake, has built his team with experienced industry professionals and boating enthusiasts. Between the three service team members he hired, there are over 60 years of experience. His team is built around people who work hard and have built a reputation across the industry for being top-tier service staff.
“I’ll be working front of house from sales to administrative work. Service makes the world go round so I hired 3 guys that I worked with previously. I’m hiring people that I know will make us successful,” Draves states.
Matt has been in the industry for five years but has been a boating enthusiast for 30 years. With his experience in sales across other industries and his love for boating and the marine industry, Matt looks forward to what he can do to grow his new business.
“There is an upper echelon in tow boats, and I saw this great opportunity. Before COVID hit I worked in sales for another industry. When COVID hit, we were shut down,” Matt shares. “We want to be the local dealership and create a good following. Long term, LA and SoCal is a large market, and we want to grow.”
Cal State Wake will serve Southern California Centurion & Supreme Boats owners and buyers.
“Our Centurion & Supreme brands are extremely happy to have Cal State Wake serving the Southern California market. With a lot of wisdom from Matt Draves in the sales department and an excellent service team headed by Brady Hale, I am fully confident that Cal State Wake is going to do great things for their customers. I am excited for this partnership that is going to take the brands to new heights in the So-Cal area,” Nick Singer, Centurion & Supreme Boats Inside Sales Manager and California Sales Representative shares.
“I’m just a 51-year-old kid. There is serenity in being on the water and that’s taken precedence in my life. I love the anticipation of my turn coming to get to ride behind the boat. I love hanging out with my friends and family. That feeling never gets old,” Matt says.
